In late March, Chinese archaeologists found six new sacrificial pits and unearthed more than 500 items dating back about 3,000 years at the mysterious Sanxingdui Ruins in China's Sichuan Province.

An incomplete gold mask has drawn enormous interest from academics and the public after it was unearthed.

It is the biggest gold mask ever discovered at the Sanxingdui Ruins.
